The Reveal: My favorite lil' guy gets a bedroom makeover...

 The bedroom makeover is COMPLETE!

If you have no idea what I am talking about catch up by clicking here

Designing my brothers bedroom into a "big boy" room was definitely fun. I really enjoyed working with him on this project and involving him in every decision I made. He worked so hard... I mean literally. At one point I asked Cameron to put something in the living room and about 15 minutes later I walk out to the living room to see what was taking him so long to find him laying on the floor, using a Spiderman slipper as a pillow and the toy I asked him to put in the living laying on his chest as he snored away to dreamland! Hahaha. Kids!

 So the reveal you ask?

Well let's show you what his room looked like before.

Here's Cameron in a typical lil' boys messy room! As you can see he's standing on a small youth bed, he has a blue storage bin full of art supplies doubling as a TV stand, a small painting easel folded in the left hand corner of the room because he would have to be on his knees if he actually wanted to paint on it and tons of other things that needed what I would call "a home"!

Stickers on the wall, balloons from birthday parties he went to recently and posters and memorabilia to show that he's a true Yankees fan....

And then we have the spiderman toy chest that literally takes up half of his room. Let's just say we won't show you what that chest really looked like before it was emptied.

 Now the REVEAL...

Cameron now has a Loft bed with a desk and shelf underneath the bed.

Desk lamp, pencils, pens and scissors now have a home and he has a healthy green plant which he's been instructed to keep that way (let's pray).

Magazine holders all labeled for school work, magazines, etc. A bulletin board to pin whatever daily  eye candy that inspires him and an organizer on the wall near his bed that holds his journal and reading books so that he doesn't have to climb up and down the ladder just to get those things he needs before bed on a daily basis.

 Shelving for his trophies...

A chest with bins for toys and games that doubles as a seating area for when Cameron wants to sit down with his buddies to play video games.

Fun pillows give the room a sporty vibe.

Cameron's TV now has a real home, giving him a place to sit his Wii game system along with two storage bins next to the dresser where he keeps all of his video games and controllers.

Cameron loves the Solar System so I added these two stars that give a great glow especially at night giving him the perfect night light.

Can't forget his Yankee posters now...

And some fun hooks where Cameron can hang his hats, coats and book bag.

The room was a huge success and Cameron now has the "big boy" room that he's been dreaming of. Now on to 4th grade my favorite lil' man goes!

 Have a great day y'all!!
